PNF has constructed a drinking water treatment plant with a total capacity of 2500 m3/day from deep well No. 3 in Adimi area of Zabul city. This project was initiated due to the lack of water and the drying of the bed of Hamon Lake, as well as the harsh climatic conditions of Sistan and Baluchistan province. The first phase of this project was put into operation in 1402 with a capacity of 250 m3/day. The aim of this project is to supply drinking water with a capacity of 2500 m3/day by the end of this year, with the completion of other phases of this project. The project is based on scientific and technical expertise, and it is hoped that it will help address the water challenges in the region.
